I sent home a Scholastic book order today. Online orders can be done anytime between now and Nov. 15. If you're ordering with the paper form, please remember to turn in the order form with your child's name written on it along with cash by next Tuesday morning by putting it inside the Monday envelope. The PTA kicked off the butter braid sale today. They told students to only sell to people they know unless they are with an adult. Please collect money as people place their order. The frozen butter braids will be delivered to school and need to be quickly delivered to your customers before they thaw or you need to keep them in your freezer until you have time to deliver them. Students got to taste the blueberry butter braid and they loved it!

In social studies we talked about the Rose Park neighborhood and the types of buildings and jobs that exist in the neighborhood. We will learn the difference between a neighborhood, a city, a state, a country and a planet. This works out so well because tomorrow we begin a unit on the planets in science.
