Today we reviewed numbers 1 through 10. We learned the "White" song (spelling the word white). We learned about fables -- stories that are meant to teach a lesson. We read the fable "It's Mine!" by Leo Lionni. We also learned 3 vocabulary words from the story: bickering, defiant, and harmony. We watched a video of another fable, "Strega Nona." In the story, the main character disobeys his employer's instructions to leave alone the magic pasta pot and learns a lesson the hard way. Sophie brought her disguised pumpkin(s) this morning and they are darling! I can't wait to see the rest tomorrow! Tomorrow is Noah's birthday.

I forgot about Red Ribbon Week. Today was Lay off Drugs- wear a lei. Here's what's up for the rest of the week:
