We read the book
Mrs. McNosh Takes Out Her Wash this morning. Students drew pictures of some of the items Mrs. McNosh hung from her clothesline, we re-read the story, then we hung the drawings from a string in our room. Students wrote in their journals about what they did this morning, before coming to school. I was looking for a sequence of events, such as, "I ate breakfast, then I got dressed." Students did an excellent job writing their sentences. Please continue to encourage your child to write at home, using invented spelling.
